Dámy a pánové,
Vláda České republiky dne 31. ledna 2001 rozhodla o znovuzavedení víz pro občany Kanady cestujici do České republiky a to počínaje dnem 1. dubna 2001.

All fees are based on a current exchange rate between the Canadian dollar and the Czech Crown and might vary from month to month (the current exchange rate is approximately 1 CND = 25 CZK).
There is no visa fee for children under 15 years of age.

        IV. VALIDITY OF THE VISA:

Canadian and International Driving Licenses may be used in the CR - we do recommend the International one. Every car on Czech motorways has to display proper sticker for motorways fees - the stickers are available at the main border crossings, at the gasoline stations and also at the main post offices. The price of the sticker varies according to time validity of the sticker. Canadian citizens do not need any heath certificate to enter the CR. When bringing pets and other small animals into the CR, a veterinarian’s certificate of proper vaccination must be presented (no authentication of this document by our Consulate necessary). If your stay exceeds 30 days, a veterinary permit issued by State Veterinary Administration of the CR is required. If you are taking along your sport firearm, please apply at Embassy or Consulate for Firearm Permit (there is special information and form available).
Goods bought in the CR are subject to Value Added Tax (VAT). As a non-resident visitor to the CR, you can claim refund for VAT on eligible goods under conditions set out by tax rules. More details on the VAT refund, along with the VAT refund application form, can be obtained at Czech border customs offices, Czech revenue offices or at sellers. Please, note the application form, properly completed, must be validated/stamped by the Czech customs office when leaving the Czech Republic.
